What's happening
Open House - April 15
Athletics at Kehoe-France Northshore is an essential part of student life, offering extra-curricular opportunities for every learner to grow while on our campus. Through a wide range of co-ed, girls’ and boys’ teams, students build physical wellness, practice good sportsmanship and develop character that reflects a strong “team first” philosophy.
From first experiences in developmental leagues to competing against other schools, students discover the value of working with their peers, embracing healthy competition, and enjoying the friendships and confidence that come from being part of an Eagles team.
Experience 11 team sports at Kehoe-France Northshore, including co-ed programs, girls’ teams and boys’ teams, giving every student a place to play, grow, and compete with Eagle pride.
Compete across fall, winter, and spring seasons in cross country, swimming, volleyball, flag football, cheer, basketball, soccer, and track and field, with a clear pathway to grow from first-time players to confident athletes.
Start strong in Grade 3 and 4 developmental leagues that act as true teaching environments, learning rules and fundamentals, getting meaningful playing time in each game, and trying new sports in a low-pressure, supportive setting.
Step into higher-level competition through Northshore Independent Athletic League (N.I.A.L.) and partner leagues, training with dedicated coaches, taking on regular fixtures, and developing resilience, leadership, and pride in performance.
Train and compete in well-equipped athletic spaces - including fields, a pool, and gym designed to support healthy habits, school spirit, and a vibrant sports culture on campus.
Grow character every season through purposeful challenges, learning to handle wins and losses, manage time alongside academics, and support others, strengthening both physical wellbeing and social-emotional skills.

Sharpen ball-handling, shooting, and defensive skills in boys’ basketball while competing in a spirited team environment.
Practices emphasize strong fundamentals, smart decision-making, and consistent effort, and league play gives athletes the chance to grow in confidence on the court and learn what it means to commit to a team.
Build speed, strategy, and teamwork in boys’ flag football, a fast-paced, non-tackle sport that introduces the fundamentals of the game in a safe format.
Practices focus on offensive and defensive plays, crisp routes, and clean handoffs, while league games give athletes the excitement of competition and the pride of representing the Eagles.
Create energy on the sidelines and build school spirit as part of the co-ed Kehoe-France Northshore cheer team.
Practices focus on jumps, chants, and routines, as well as responsibility and discipline, so cheerleaders can perform with confidence, led by example, and spread Eagle pride at games, events, and camp throughout the year.
Build endurance, grit, and mental toughness in co-ed cross country. Co-ed athletes train on varied terrain while learning pacing, goal-setting, and how to push through challenges.
Meets become a chance to celebrate personal improvement as much as placement, with teammates cheering one another through every step of the course.
Strengthen fitness, coordination, and court awareness through girls’ basketball, with opportunities for both developmental and middle school teams.
Practices build dribbling, passing, shooting, and defensive skills, while games help athletes handle competition with composure, support teammates, and take pride in their growth from season to season.
Develop agility, coordination, and quick decision-making on the volleyball court in a program designed for girls.
Practices build serving, passing, setting, and hitting skills while emphasizing communication and teamwork, so every player grows competitive confidence and contributes to the spirit and success of the team.
Our soccer team is for athletes ready to take their skills to the next level. Players train with purpose, compete with intensity, and grow as teammates and leaders.
Along the way, athletes develop discipline, resilience, and confidence while experiencing the pride of representing their school in competition.
Build strength, endurance, and water confidence in co-ed swimming.
Training sessions focus on stroke technique, starts, and turns, as well as overall fitness, and meets offer opportunities to set personal goals, celebrate improvements, and cheer teammates to the finish.
Challenge speed, stamina, and focus in co-ed track and field.
Practices introduce a range of running and field events, emphasizing proper technique and race strategy, while meets encourage everyone to set personal bests, support teammates, and discover the satisfaction of working hard toward visible, measurable progress.
Students from Grade 1 to 7 learn chess in a developmental setting that feels like a teaching league. Players focus on clear rules, simple tactics, and fair play, with plenty of game time so everyone builds confidence, enjoys friendly competition, and discovers a love of strategy. As part of the ISP Chess Masters ILOS, students also have the opportunity to compete against peers from other schools internationally across the International Schools Partnership, broadening their perspective while developing critical thinking, sportsmanship, and global connections.
Join Athletics at Kehoe-France Northshore and experience the thrill of teamwork, skill-building, and character development - whether in developmental leagues or competitive teams, every athlete can grow, stay active, and be part of the Eagles community.
