At our private school in Northshore, every child is known, valued, and respected, irrespective of their background, beliefs, or needs. We follow the International Schools Partnership - ISP Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy alongside all Louisiana safeguarding and mandated reporting standards, so your child’s safety and wellbeing always come first.
All staff complete regular safeguarding training and act quickly on any concern, including online safety risks and child-to-child harm, creating a secure, caring environment where students can learn and grow with confidence.

At Kehoe-France Northshore, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, known, and respected, irrespective of their background, beliefs, or needs.
Our strong safeguarding culture means students learn in a secure environment with caring adults who know them well, follow clear ISP and Louisiana safeguarding standards, and act quickly on any concern - always putting each child’s wellbeing first.
Our Covington campus is secure throughout the day, with access limited to authorized staff and checked‑in visitors who must sign in, wear ID badges, and be supervised if not cleared to work directly with students.
Everyone working with students completes background checks, ID verification, and safeguarding training before starting, and receives ongoing development to recognize and respond to any signs of abuse or neglect.
A trained Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) oversees safeguarding at Kehoe-France Northshore, coordinates staff training, and manages concerns through secure, confidential reporting systems.
Concerns are logged through secure reporting systems and handled promptly with care, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Our Covington private school follows all Louisiana laws and licensing requirements, and all faculty and staff complete Mandated Reporter Training and must immediately report any suspected abuse, neglect, or risk of harm.
Students learn how to stay safe online, including recognizing risks like cyberbullying, sharing personal information, inappropriate content, online grooming, and emerging threats such as deepfakes and AI chatroom risks.
Online safety is built into the curriculum at Kehoe-France Northshore, and we use monitored and filtered school technology so students can learn, create, and connect in a protected digital environment.
Our school takes all forms of bullying seriously, including face-to-face and cyberbullying, and treats child-to-child harm as a safeguarding issue while teaching students to treat others with kindness and respect.
