The Kehoe-France athletic program strives to provide students in grades four through seventh the opportunity to participate in team sports, both through intramurals and in league play competing against other schools. The goal of the athletic program is to instill the attributes of sportsmanship and teamwork in all participants while at the same time providing students the opportunity to engage in meaningful physical activities.
Our athletics program covers a wide variety of sports including interscholastic Boys Flag Football, Girls Volleyball, Swimming, Cross Country, Boys and Girls Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, Softball, and Tennis. Kehoe-France also offers a variety of intramural sports including Boys and Girls Volleyball, Flag Football, and Basketball. Interscholastic league-play sports are open to students from grade 4 through grade 7; our Intramural in-school sports are open to students from grade 3 through grade 7.
The sports program at Kehoe-France helps students improve their motor skills, encourages better health through physical fitness, and develops self-discipline and an understanding of the value of teamwork. We believe that the best instruction is combined with wholesome recreation that enables the development of a well- trained mind, a healthy body, and appropriate social values.
Currently, our interscholastic sports programs have numerous teams who are the current defending champions of the Metro League. These sports include Girls Swimming and Girls Junior and Senior Varsity Basketball.
