• Applications for admission are accepted as of September 1 for the upcoming school year. Parents must submit the enrollment application along with a deposit of $300.00 for new 2, 3, and 4 year old full time applicants or $350.00 (includes $100.00 assessment fee) for new Primer through Grade 8 applicants. Should your child not be accepted, the registration fee will be refunded. The assessment fee is non-refundable.
• Interested parents are required to attend one of the information sessions held at Kehoe-France starting at 8:30 A.M. on Jan. 16 & 30, 2008, Feb. 13 & 27, 2008, March 19, 2008, April 9, 2008, May 7, 2008.
• Students applying for grades 1 through 8 are required to take an admission test ($100.00 non-refundable fee). 2008-2009 test dates will be announced as needed. Applicants are also required to visit for a classroom visitation.
• The admission office will request all of the necessary school records for the applicants.
• Parents will receive written notification of acceptance, refusal or wait list status for Children Center through Grade 8 as soon as the application process is complete.
• Preschool applicants are not required to take admission tests and are admitted based on space availability. However, a Primer assessment will be administered in May. Test dates are May 30 and 31 (both days required).

1st through 8th Grade Application Requirements: The Admission Committee considers past academic performance, admission testing and teacher assessment for applicants to grades 1 through 8.

Eligibility

Kehoe-France admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to the students at this school. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin, or disability in administration of educational policies, admission policies, athletic and other school-administered programs.

Tuition

Tuition is payable in three equal installments due May 1, August 1, and November 1. (If you desire, tuition loans may be obtained through the student loan department at First Bank in New Orleans.) Tuition payments not received on the due date will be assessed a late fee of 18% annual on balance due. The registration fee is non-refundable.

Tuition for part-time students may be paid monthly (in advance or by the year). Registration is for a school year. Parents will be responsible for tuition unless Kehoe-France receives 30 day written notice of withdrawal.

Uniforms: School uniforms must be purchased by all students preschool (4 year olds) through grade 8.

Lunch Program: The option of purchasing a pre-paid lunch or brown bagging is available for students.

Extended Day: Before-school and after-school care is available for students of Kehoe-France Children Center and school. The extended day is $3.00 per hour or any part thereof if requirements are met. There is no registration fee for extended day, however, advance registration is required to insure proper staffing. Before-school care is available beginning at 7:00 A.M. After-school care is available until 6:00 P.M.
